Headaches, Dishes and Stretch Marks

I have to share the most recent uses we've found for a few of our essential oils. I work from home two days a week, Wednesday and Friday. Last Wednesday was not my most successful work from home day…one fifteen minute task took a total of six hours to complete. Finn is teething and only wants to be held, so work was just simply not going to happen while he was up. By noon I had a raging headache, one where I normally wouldn't have hesitated to take 800 milligrams of Tylenol. Instead, I decided to give my Peppermint oil a try. I put two drops in the palm of my hand and rubbed it on the back of my neck. Peppermint oil has a cooling sensation, which was soothing in and of itself, but to my surprise, my headache was completely gone within ten minutes. Not only that, but it didn't come back. Goodbye Tylenol.

The next success story comes from our dishwasher, yes, our dishwasher. Thieves. Wowza. I don't have much to say, I'll let the pictures do the talking. We put three drops of Thieves in with the soap and not only did the inside of the dishwasher look considerably cleaner, check out the dishes!

With vs. without Thieves

With vs. without Thieves

Last but not least, stretch marks. I thought I was going to make it through my entire pregnancy without stretch marks, and I almost did. Two weeks before Finn arrived, they appeared. I don't have a before and after picture to post yet because I just started this, but I've been mixing one drop of Frankincense oil with my moisturizer and applying it to the stretch marks, and I have seen quite a bit of improvement in a very short amount of time.

I am finding new uses for oils everyday and I cannot emphasize how many improvements we have seen in our overall health since we've started using them. Please post if you have ideas or suggestions of things that have worked for you!
